National Chiao Tung University is a prominent research institute in Taiwan. It merged with National Yang-Ming University in 2021 and is known for its focus on engineering, science, & technology, particularly Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for the International Student Scholarship at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan are listed below.

  • You can be a citizen of any nationality except Taiwan.
  • You must not have been a recipient of a Taiwanese Government scholarship before.
  • You must have a high-school degree to take admission to BS, a Bachelor’s degree to take admission to an MPhil, and a Master’s degree to take admission to a PhD.
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.0 is required for undergraduates and a CGPA of 3.5 for graduates.
  • You must possess good health.
  • You must not hold a working VISA or an Alien Residence Certificate for work purposes, but for study purposes only. 
  • You must demonstrate language proficiency.
